Reach for the Stars. It’s What Roslyn Simmons Does.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Roslyn Simmons helps the children of Detroit reach for the stars. She is a married mom of two who is committed to her family and her community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the owner and leader of Stars Elite Training Center in Detroit, Roslyn has been bringing the art of dance to inner-city children for 18 years who, given the expense, might not have gotten to participate in dance otherwise. <\/span><\/strong>Through her work, Roslyn teaches the lifelong skill of teamwork and views dance as a mechanism to offer mentoring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite personal and financial expense, Roslyn has been able to keep the doors to Stars Elite Training Center open. With Roslyn’s teaching and care, Stars Elite dance students have competed and won many competitions across the country and have had many high-profile performing experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Education is a high priority for Roslyn, and she has tutored many of her dance students in academics as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
